Privacy policy

How LSG Realty Inc. collects, uses and protects your personal information.

LSG Realty Inc. ("LSG Realty", "we") is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

What we collect

  • Details you enter in our forms: name, email, phone number, postal code and what you're looking for.
  • The page you submitted the form from and the time we received it.
  • Builders and Realtors who submit a pre-construction project: name, email, phone, role, RECO registration number (Realtors) and the project details, used to review the project and contact you; your contact details go to our lead system and the project details only to our brokerage.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends, such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the site secure.

Member accounts (VOW)

  • If you create a member account to search member listings, we keep your name, email, phone number, a securely hashed password, and when and from where you accepted the VOW terms of use. We email you a link to confirm your address and, if you ask, to reset your password; these emails are sent through Microsoft Azure Communication Services.
  • If you choose "Continue with Google", Google tells us your name, your email address, that Google has verified it, and your Google account ID, and we store the ID with your member account. We don't get your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account, and we never send Google your activity in the member area or the listings you look at. Google handles the sign-in under its own privacy policy.
  • The MLS® rules require us to keep member account records for at least 180 days after an account or password expires.
  • We also keep a record of your activity in the member area: sign-ins, searches and the listings you open. PropTx, which provides the MLS® listing service, requires this record so misuse can be investigated, and we give it to PropTx if it asks.
  • Your member account and activity record are kept on LSG Realty's website systems. The listings you look at are never sent to Praime or to any artificial intelligence service. Your contact details are shared with Praime as described below so an agent can follow up.

Ask PiQa (AI assistant)

  • PiQa is Praime's artificial intelligence assistant. When you ask it a question, the text you type is sent to Praime, which uses AI model providers (such as Google and Anthropic) to prepare the answer. Nothing else is sent: not the page you are on, the listings you look at, or anything from the MLS® system. PiQa isn't shown on listing or search pages, and LSG Realty's website doesn't store your questions. Please don't type personal or confidential information into it.
  • If you choose "Talk to an LSG Realty agent", the form works like our other forms. Your questions to PiQa go to the agent only if you tick "Include my questions"; PiQa's answers are never sent.

Map address search

  • When you search the map by address, postal code or place, what you type is looked up on LSG Realty's own server in public open data (Statistics Canada's address database and GeoNames place names). It is not stored or shared: it is never sent to a map or geocoding company, Praime or any artificial intelligence service, and it isn't kept in our logs.

How we use it

  • To respond to you and connect you with an LSG Realty agent.
  • To send you homes and real estate information, only if you ticked the consent box.
  • To keep records required of a registered brokerage in Ontario.

Who we share it with

Your information is stored and processed on our behalf by Praime, the software platform LSG Realty uses to manage client inquiries, and by its hosting providers, which may store data outside Canada. They may use it only to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

  • You can withdraw consent to messages at any time by replying STOP to a text or using the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@landservicesgroup.ca.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're working with us and as long as the law requires brokerage records to be kept, then delete it.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
